Favourites are a handy tool for saving your graphs for future use. Instead of rebuilding a graph every time, you can quickly load saved views and share them with others on your project. This ensures everyone is working from the same data and making consistent decisions.
Getting Started
- Cirro staff will usually create a few starter favourites for you.
- You can modify and save these as your own, or
- Use them as a reference for how graphs are built.
- Favourites can be accessed from the Filters dropdown on the Graphs page.
- Tip: Use the search box in the dropdown to quickly find a favourite.
- You can also click Favourites at the top of the page to view all favourites, organized into:
- Your favourites
- Shared with me
- Shared with all
Creating a Favourite
- Create a new graph as usual, or select an existing favourite and modify it.
- Click Save as Favourite.
- Enter a unique name.
- (Optional) Select Set as Default to make it the graph that loads automatically when you open the graphs page.
- Choose a date range:
- Relative ranges (e.g., last 7 days, last month) update automatically.
- Static ranges (using “Use selected date range”) will remain fixed based on your current selection.
- Choose how to share it:
- Private – visible only to you.
- Share with – visible only to specific users you select.
- Share with all – visible to everyone on the project. Use this for graphs that will be widely useful.
Sharing & Collaboration
- Sharing favourites keeps projects tidy by avoiding duplicate graphs.
- Use “Share with” for limited access (e.g., a graph relevant only to a certain role).
- Use “Share with all” to provide project-wide visibility.
Using Favourites in Reports
Favourites can also be inserted directly into Reports. This makes it easy to:
- Combine multiple favourites into a single report.
- Share or publish reports with colleagues and clients.
- Ensure reports always reflect the agreed project views.
